The Chaos

Alli and Dom started swimming lessons last week. Alli has a perm-a-smile the entire time she is in the pool. She was sooo jealous all summer watching Dom and not being able to do it herself that she is now sooo thrilled to have her turn too! Dom is doing great. He is actually starting to swim (arms, legs, and breathing) all by himself. We are very proud of him!

Dom had his first soccer game yesterday evening. I think I might freeze this fall, but Dom had a great time. He is still a little hesitant to actually kick at the ball (we think he is afraid of kicking someone). We are sure he will get more aggressive as the season goes on. And, the funniest thing is that Dom's team coach is a man who was in the same child birth class as Sean and I...his son is also on the team (and in Dom's class too at school). Small world.

I baked Strawberry bread, a recipe I picked up from one of the blogs I subscribe to, last week. I added blueberries to it because I can never just make something according to the recipe. My family raved about how tasty it was. So, yesterday I made Strawberry Banana bread and Strawberry Blueberry bread. We are wolfing through the Straw/Ban bread and have yet to get to the Blueberry one. My mouth is watering thinking about it...

Sean is doing well, working hard. Same thing, different day.

I am running kids here and there like a mad woman. I am trying to sleep through the night again (anyone have suggestions how to get a 3yr old to do this again!?).

Everything is good. Now that I have updated a bit...I am off again!

So glad to hear from you. I am not ignoring you. We've been just trying to keep our heads above water. I promise I'll call soon. It looks like the kiddos are doing great! I think I need to try some of that bread--it sounds delish!
