Things do get better...

1. Alli refuses to sleep in her own bed. She got into mine twice. I kept putting her back in her bed, but it is super tiring! I don't have a baby, I have a 3 year old!

2. Sean left early for work. So, I got up earlier to get the kids ready (which he normally does). 20 minutes earlier as a matter of fact...but it didn't matter.

3. The dog pooped all over the laundry room. Why? Who knows?!? It will have to wait to be cleaned up until I get home...I know gross, but I didn't have time.

4. Alli refused to go potty this morning when I asked her to because she is 'a big girl' and didn't need to go. Not sure what planet she was from, but every one's bladder needs emptying first thing in the morning. I let her be because I didn't want to fight.

5. Cooked the kids breakfast. Dom fed his to the dog...not on purpose, but ARGH! I re-cooked Dom's breakfast.

6. Sent kids to the car to get in while I finished up grabbing something for myself to eat on the way to work. Alli was screaming that she needed back into the house and couldn't open the screen door...I let her in.

7. Alli screamed from the bathroom (oh, the reason she needed back in) that she was peeing...ALL OVER THE FLOOR and her clothes and her jacket. I looked at her and burst into tears. I couldn't even yell...I was spent. She cried too...I told her she wasn't allowed to cry.

8. I left the pee all over the floor w/the peed on clothes. I left the poo all over the floor. My coffee was cold, but I drank it anyway. I cried the whole way to town and refused to speak to my kids (how childish). I threw them and their stuff at the sitter...and called on my way to work to apologize to her...it wasn't her fault.

9. I was sure the parking spots near the building (not 10 min walk away) would all be taken. I was so upset. But, when I pulled into the spot, things started looking brighter. I got a parking spot.

10. I forgot my soda a home, but the cold coffee was doing the trick.

11. My co-worker stopped me when I was scrambling (20 min late...even after getting up 20 min early) to my office. She handed me a frosted sugar cookie. Did she know it was my favorite? Nope, but she thought of me when she saw it and new I would love it.

12. My new printer for work came today...I have to go get it from the mail room.

Things are looking up. Now...Anyone want to come to my house before I get home and clean the dog and kid mess off the floor for me? Didn't think so. :S

Oh Emily I TOTALLY understand this post! You keep hanging in there and put a smile on your face as you go! With your cute sense of humor and sweet disposition I know that you handle more "bad" days better then most moms handle the "good" ones! Laughter is the best medicine!
